Norman has over 20 years experience in senior lateral hires and moving teams in the Accountancy profession. This includes 15 years as Managing Director of his own niche strategic consultancy, where he supported clients from the Big 4, leading Group A firms and boutiques in realising their growth ambitions and maintaining competitive advantage.

He specialises in the identification, motivation and recruitment of senior hires at Partner, Director and Senior Manager level and the strategic acquisitions of teams.

Sectors include: Audit, Tax, Restructuring and Insolvency, Corporate Finance, Forensic and General Practice.

Norman believes in creating mutually sustainable win/win scenarios for his clients and candidates. By working closely with his clients, he gains a thorough understanding of the needs of the business and is able to match these with the personal drivers/aspirations of potential candidates. 

He understands the need for discretion and confidentiality at the senior end of the accountancy market and invests the time to support businesses and individuals through these critical career changes.

Prior to setting up his own consultancy, Norman and David worked together for a number of years in a boutique executive search firm where he was also a top billing worldwide consultant within the world’s largest executive search network.

Together David and Norman have significant experience and unrivalled knowledge in the marketplace.

Additionally, Norman is a fully qualified financial adviser and a Chartered Insurance Institute Prize winner.

Norman is single with 2 young children, 2 dogs and 2 chickens and lives in Maidstone, Kent.

Hobbies include Golf, Mountain Biking, Skiing, Snooker and Pool, travel and spending quality time with his young family. 

Norman is also committee member and treasurer of a local Snooker League and captain of a local team.
