Managing Partner

David has over 20 years recruitment experience and for the last 17 years has been advising clients in the accountancy profession (Big 4, leading Group A firms and boutiques) on the strategic recruitment of new partner and teams.

During that time he has recruited over 150 Partners/Directors for his clients, including individual senior hires, the strategic acquisitions of teams and a number of practice mergers/acquisitions. 

Sectors include: Audit, Tax, Consulting, Risk, Business Recovery, Forensic Accounting and Corporate Finance.

Jurisdictions include: UK, Ireland, USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Ukraine and Hong Kong.

David works closely with his clients and by understanding the needs of the business and the personal drivers/aspirations of the candidates, he helps to ensure that long term and sustainable matches are made.

David established Oakridge in 2017 as a re-brand of part of Ortus Group where he has been a partner since 2010. Previously, David was a Director at a boutique executive search firm, where he had also been the top billing worldwide consultant within the world’s largest executive search network and a Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM).

David is married with 3 children and lives in Redhill, Surrey.

Hobbies include: travel, golf, skiing, cinema and dining out with friends and family. He is also a volunteer and a coach at a Surrey Rugby club.
